Karoa cara Distilling co. is a standard micro-distillery plant that will be located in the heart of the small village of Shakashead, KwaZulu Natal province. We are in the distilling business to produce top quality, great tasting and finely distilled hand-crafted alcoholic drinks such as Vodka, Gin, Rum, Spirit Coolers and Craft Beer that can compete with any other distillery in South Africa and in any part of the world. We are in business for the love of manufacturing uniquely flavored hand-crafted products, to make profits and to give our customers value for their money. We aim to give people and businesses who patronize our distilled alcoholic drinks the opportunity to be part of the success story of Karoa Cara and even blend some of their own infusions when visiting our distillery. We are aware that there are several commercial and micro – distilleries scattered all around South Africa, whose products can be found in a variety of stores, which is why we spent time and resources to conduct our feasibility studies and market survey so as to enable us to locate the business in an area that will support the growth of the business and also for us to be able offer much more than our competitors will be offering. We ensured that our facility is easy to locate and we have mapped out plans to develop a wide distribution network for wholesalers all around the South Africa. Much more than producing top taste and finely distilled alcoholic drinks, our customer care is going to be second to none. We know that our customers are the reason why we are in business which is why we will go the extra mile to ensure satisfaction when they visit and purchase any of our distilled alcoholic drinks and also to become our loyal customers and ambassadors. We have CRM software that will enable us to manage a one on one relationship with our customers no matter how large the numbers of our customer base may grow to. We will ensure that we plough back into the community with job creation, and skills development. Our aim of creating good quality products goes hand in hand with environmental friendliness, since we nurture the environment that provides the produce which our products derive from. Karoa Cara is a business created and inspired by Elwin & Janie Barnes, We will bring new infusions to the market, contribute to the great quality of South Africa’s existing hand craft distilleries and create products that will be proudly South African, yet exportable to the world. Since the distillery will incorporate a Tasting room as well, clients will be able to tour the distillery whilst enjoying our products.
