Description
A cuvée of Chardonnay and Vesna, 2018. Fresh palate with hints of lime. Fruity extract with a hint of residual sugar from ripened grapes. A perfect combination. From a small family winery in Dubnany, Czech Republic with a long tradition of sustainable farming. Estate grown, hand picked and hand labeled. Vinařství Spěvák's signature is the production of high quality wines.
Tasting Notes: A cuvée of Chardonnay grown on slopes of an extinct mud volcano and a new Moravian grape Vesna. Off-dry wine, medium alcohol, medium acid, full body.
On the Nose and Palate: Flavors of citrus fruits such a lime and lime zest, typical for Chardonnay, are combined with floral aroma and extended into a long finish thanks to Vesna. The perfect combination for any day. Limited batch size.
Varietal composition: Chardonnay 70%, Vesna 30% - A new crossing of Rakis and Merlan bred in Moravia.
Food pairing: Enjoy on its own or with a variety of chesses. Pair with white meat or pork dishes, such as port tenderlion over baby greens with lime and sriracha vinaigrette topped with a pear and red onion slaw served with petite truffle parmesan potato chips and citrus mustard dipping sauce.
