Sun exposure: South West Monforte d'Alba
Grape variety: Nebbiolo michet end Nebbiolo Lampia
Harvest period: mid-October
Grapes per hectare: 5000.
Vinification: in red, with maceration of the skins in wooden vats.
Fermentation time: most of the skins are kept in contact for 20 days, during which fermentation takes place, punched down daily and finally racked.
Fermentation temperature: variable with peaks of 32 ° C.
Aging: the wine is kept for 3 to 5 months in steel tanks and undergoes malolactic fermentation, is decanted several times, and finally refined in French oak barrels (capacity 45/50 hl) for 48 months.
Aging in bottle: for 12 MONTHS Alcohol content: from 14 to 15% Alcohol content / vol. Depending on the vintage.
Color: bright garnet red color with faint orange notes, it is rich and complex. notes of jam, raspberry, licorice, cherry and camphor.
Soft mouth of remarkable structure with fine tannins and persistence. In the finish tobacco, pepper and truffle are expressed.
