Description
Parlengo is produced from one of the most widespread black grape within the regional wine scene, the Montepulciano. This variety is widely planted above all in Abruzzo region, where it is the source of the excellent Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, and Marche region, where it is an important component of DOC red wines such as Rosso Conero and Rosso Piceno. Montelpulciano is a great grape variety capable of producing deeply colored and very rich grapes that result in wines with a healthy level of alcohol and extract. Parlengo presents an intense ruby red color and remember on the nose red fruits like cherries and sour cherries. Thanks to the wood aging in the traditional big oak barrels, his power and personality are at their maximum. The important tannic and alcoholic component confer to Parlengo a big longevity.
