Description
This vibrant wine has intense aromas of lime, passionfruit, and gooseberry. The succulent palate is packed with juicy tropical fruit with a long lively finish. Excellent with seafood, salad, lamb and asparagus.
Vineyard
This wine is a great expression of Sauvignon Blanc from Wairarapa, the cold dry climate and free draining soils are ideal for the variety. Fruit from our home vineyard and selected vineyards throughout the valley give us a palette of flavours to blend. Careful vineyard management and naturally low yields provide ripe fruit with intense flavours.
Winemaking
The grapes were harvested as each vineyard reached optimum ripeness and gently pressed to stainless steel tanks. Fermentation occurred at cool temperatures with a variety of yeast to enhance fruit expression and complexity. After resting on light lees the wines were blended and prepared for bottling.
