Moedi makes and sells exceptional wines throughout the world while building trusted friendships, flourishing communities in South Africa, and a thriving earth. Moedi means \'water\' in Setswana, my home language. Water brings life; so does wine! And our African roots begin at the beginning. Some of my ancestors are the San people of the Kalahari (thank you Ancestry.com!). The \'O\' in Moedi represents the honeycomb of the beehive where we labor with friends to create wine and impact. We cherish building bridges to bring part of Africa to the world through wine and the world back to Africa through impact. When you drink a glass of Moedi you know bee-keepers in rural villages are getting a bit more sustainable income. You know the natural environment is a small step closer to healing. And you know an orphan is getting a world-class education that can ripple into thriving families, communities, and countries.
