The Rye River Brewing Company was established in November 2013 by three local lads with a passion for beer and everything Irish! The idea, conceived one beer fuelled night, when the pub discussion went from the challenges of the economic downturn to the possibility to make it better, create jobs, fuel a local economy and live the dream! And so the story of the Rye River Brewing Company began. The McGargles were born, and the team started to build. Just a few years on and the brewery employs over 60 people, produces a range of fifteen beers including six McGargle beers and is a distribution centre for imported brands such as Bavaria and San Miguel along with craft beers such as Innis & Gunn from Edinburgh.
