We are an emerging developer and marketer of the premium branded tequila Kinky Friedman’s Man in Black Tequila (MIBT). Our premium brands include Plata, Reposado, Anjeo and Extra Anjeo. We own full marketing and distribution rights. We were formed as a Texas corporation in May of 2011 by partners, Brian Kanof, Dianna Offutt and Kinky Friedman. That same year, Man in Black LLC (MIB) entered into negotiations with Artisanal Beverage Company and contracted them to become importer of record and sales agent for the United States. Our first fiscal year ended in December of 2012. Throughout History, through legend, folklore and song, there has stood that lone solitary figure of strength, independence and courage, the Man in Black. This tequila is a tribute to men like Paladin, Zorro, and Johnny Cash who wore the dark attire that cloaked them in mystery. He may have been a hero or a scoundrel, but all who encountered him knew he was the force to be dealt with.
