The wine agency Benkert GmbH is a Saarland family business in its second generation. The company was acquired by the Benkert family in the mid-1980s as a purely commercial agency for wines and spirits and has been owned by the family for more than 30 years. Shortly after the takeover, the wine specialist agency Benkert GmbH began importing French wines and selling them in Germany. Over the years, the range has been steadily expanded. In addition to the commercial agents not only French wines were imported, but also wines from Spain and Italy. Of course, there are also wines from Germany in our portfolio. If our offer in the 1980s still fit on a single DIN A4 page, today it fills a nearly 50-page catalog.
