At the end of 1996 a typical Italian wedding took place somewhere in the Abruzzi where I was invited. During dinner the Montepulciano and Trebbiano d'Abruzzo were served, wines from the Azienda Vinicola Torre Zambra.

The quality of these wines quickly brought me to a good thought.

"A friend of a friend" knew the maker of these wines and within a few weeks the first bottles were sold in the Netherlands.

In addition to these wines, olive oil, espresso coffee and even more "good things from Italy" were imported shortly thereafter, resulting in a wide range of products.
