LaFayette Selections, LLC is a 14-year-old company. Dr. Lemarchand (former retail owner) took over as the CEO in August 2006. He restructured the company, gave a new direction, strategies, and leadership to this distributorship originally specialized in French and Italian wines. The success of the "new" company has led to the development of its French brands represented in other States including Maryland and Washington DC.

Rebuilding an image based on quality, service, and trust, LaFayette has been working on balancing its portfolio allowing more domestic, European and South American representation. Former Portfolio Director Mike VanHassel and his extensive wine knowledge as well as his "on-premise" and "off-premise" experience has played a crucial role in implementing this global and balanced philosophy. The expertise and advice of Becky Tate, Mark Chambers, Rob Martin, Leigh Hughes, Nicolas Tayol and Eric Metge are helping shape the future of Lafayette Selections.
