When it comes to winemaking, the boys from Dee Vine Estate have got it down pat. With a significant family tradition in viticulture spanning across two continents and at least four generations, for these guys, producing great wine comes as naturally to them as drinking it. Growing up together on the family vineyards in the NSW Riverina, these two cousins picked up a trick or two about the production of a top drop from their Italian grandfathers; two brothers who immigrated to Australia in the early 1950s. They learnt their trade from their father, who had grown wine grapes on the side of a mountain in a small village in southern Italy and, as legend has it, produced from them some of the best vino in the region. As is traditional, the grapes used in the majority of Dee Vine wines have been carefully selected from their family vineyards in the Riverina and their production is consistently of the highest quality.
