t the request of Nicholas II, Tsar of Russia, Victor Dravigny the famous cellarmaster settled down on the shore of the Black Sea to produce the first sparkling wines of the region. He lived there with his family from 1905 to 1919. When he returned to France he created Champagne Victor Dravigny. Now owned by Chateau d'Avize, this Blanc de Blancs is a tribute to this outstanding Champagne precursor.
