In the Quinta del Obispo we grow eight different grape varieties in order to get the very best out of our wines. We give each of our wines dedication, time and attention...all required assets to make them unique. Our vineyard and winery are located in Albares de la Ribera , a town in the small village of Torre del Bierzo in the province of Leon. Our origins as a winery, date back to the ninth century with the establishment of the Monastery of Santa Maria and San Martin. Land of great wine tradition, different grape varieties are cultivated in the tradition and essences in procedures, without neglecting the latest technological advances .
