United Vines, a new project founded by Eli and Jake Rallo, partnered with Isabella Oddero of Piemonte, Italy, to produce a wine that raises money for social justice charities. The idea behind United Vines is to use society's love for wine to bring people together to fight for equality for all. The proceeds of every purchased bottle of United Vines will go to a charitable foundation at the heart of a specific humanitarian cause.
United Vines CEO Eli Rallo, along with her brother Jake, grew up in the restaurant business. Their father, noted New Jersey restaurateur Vic Rallo, owns Undici in Rumson, NJ; Birravino in Red Bank, NJ; and Esca in New York City among several other restaurants. Eli is a graduate of the University of Michigan and will be attending Columbia University to complete her Masters in Journalism in the Fall. Jake is currently attending Cornell University and has a strong belief that the world's future lies with conducting productive spaces in the realm of hospitality; he is honored to combine his passions for food and beverage with serving others. The passion Jake and Eli have for Italian wine, hospitality, and social justice led them to create United Vines.
