Nestled in the shadow of Mount Ararat, the Aregak Brandy Factory is one of Armenia’s oldest and most revered distilleries, tracing its origins back more than a century and a half. Over generations, Aregak has perfected the art of transforming native Armenian grapes into refined brandies, each bottle carrying the spirit of the region.

The distillery’s founders set a standard that remains unchanged: to produce brandy that honors tradition while embracing innovation. Today, that philosophy continues to guide Aregak’s expansion into new international markets, including its recent move to the United Kingdom, where discerning drinkers are rediscovering the depth and character of Armenian brandy.

At the heart of every Aregak spirit are indigenous Armenian grape varieties—Kangun, Rkatsiteli, Mskhali, and Voskeat—hand-harvested from the sun-drenched Ararat Valley. This region boasts over 30 distinct soil types, each imparting subtle variations that give Aregak’s distillates their layered complexity. From here, the journey continues to the distillery’s cellars, aptly named Paradise. Each brandy matures in century-old Armenian oak barrels, hand-crafted without nails or glue by a master cooper, whose expertise is sought across the country. These barrels lend deep amber hues and the rich aromatic depth to the liquid that define Aregak’s signature character.

The ARVEST Collection

The ARVEST line showcases Aregak’s mastery of traditional Armenian cognac-making, with each expression representing a different stage of maturation:

  • ARVEST (3 Years) – A balanced, copper-toned spirit revealing soft nutty notes and light fruity sweetness.
  • ARVEST VSOP (5 Years) – Aged in Karabakh oak, it offers golden reflections and flavors of dried fruit and hazelnut.
  • ARVEST Napoleon (7 Years) – A connoisseur’s brandy with elegant floral notes, hints of prune and apricot, and a refined oak spice finish.

Innovation in Flavor: The ANTIBRANDY Revolution

While Aregak’s foundation is steeped in history, its vision extends boldly into the future. The ANTIBRANDY series redefines how brandy can be experienced—uniting fruit distillates, natural spice extracts, and innovative blending techniques to create spirits that are as versatile as they are distinctive.

Standout expressions include:

  • The Legend of Juniper, an apricot-based spirit balanced by juniper and citrus.
  • Cold Ginger, pairing apricot and grape distillates with ginger and cardamom.
  • All-In Basil, where grape distillate is fused with basil and oregano for a herbaceous twist.
  • Revolt of Tiramisu, blending aged cognac distillates with coffee and dessert-like richness.
  • Red Pepper Rider, an adventurous mix of apricot, peach, and red pepper.
  • 20,000 Roses Under the Sea, a romantic interplay of rose, bergamot, and apricot.

The ANTIBRANDY range has earned multiple Double Gold and Gold medals at the Bartender Spirits Awards 2023 in San Francisco and top honors at the London Spirits Competition, strongly associating Aregak with undefeated quality, craftsmanship and creativity.

The Magic Tree Series: A Tribute to Armenia’s Fruits

Aregak’s Magic Tree line celebrates Armenia’s agricultural bounty through elegant fruit brandies and vodkas. From Armenian Apricot Brandy—crafted from hand-picked fruits and honored with medals at San Francisco and London competitions—to the silky Mulberry Vodka, each bottle captures the essence of Armenia’s orchards. Variants such as Honey Apricot, Wild Basil and Grapes, and Special Blends further demonstrate Aregak’s artistry in bringing together tradition and innovation.

A Distillery with Heart and Heritage

Across every range, from ARVEST to ANTIBRANDY, Aregak’s philosophy remains constant: authentic ingredients, patient craftsmanship, and respect for nature. The brand’s expansion to new markets marks not just a business milestone but the continuation of a proud legacy—bringing the soul of Armenia’s distillation culture to the world, one bottle at a time.
