La Branche was founded by André Merlijn and Teun den Dunnen. Both of us were already working in the wine trade when we decided in 1998 to join forces and start a business together.

From the start we have worked on an assortment with which you can be seen. We wanted to grow but, as far as manpower is concerned, remain a small and compact company. That is why, in addition to an attractive range of mainly European wines, a great deal of attention was paid to the optimization of logistics, automation and organization. We dare to say that with our professional approach and challenging product range we are a suitable partner for everyone who has something to do with wine. Yes, even in terms of prices, we can compete with many big brothers.

Our goals are the same as when we started. They have now delivered us a large group of satisfied and loyal customers, and invariably our wines receive high ratings from the national (wine) press.
